In 2012 we visited the the former ‘Stasi prison’ Bautzen II, in Bautzen, Saxony, Germany.

Again an intriguing visit to a memorial from the cold war. It is possible to walk freely through the prison and sit in one of the prison cells. The corridors and rooms were filled with the portraits and stories of the former prisoners. Same came here after a lot of brave moves, others just got here out of bad luck. It striked me you actually didn’t have to do that much to end up here in those days…
